Can I do this?
My friend came over last night with her 2-year-old. He was seriously all over the place and into EVERYTHING. It's moments like these that totally freak me out. I am sure we will certainly adjust, but there's nothing like reality hitting you right in the face.

I feel the same way sometimes!!! I worry about the clutter, the messes, the house getting destroyed...etc!! It's all normal, we'll survive!!!

i feel that way when there's a baby screaming on the train or a toddler throwing a tantrum...i get so scared that i won't be able to handle a situation like that but i just leave it in God's hands and hope that i will learn as i go along! oh and i also pray for a perfect baby jk!

I agree, I think you learn patience and we'll all learn how to deal with the tantrums and actions of our kids.
....although I'm sure at some point we'll all have a meltdown that could rival any 3 year old's tantrum

I have an almost 3 year old DS at home and I will be the 1st to say- you never get used to it !!!! Just when you think you "might' have a kid figured out- they change it up on you - LOL !!!! The best way to cope is to never "expect' anything ( and that starts at birth) and you'll do just fine In the end, they look up at you with that baby smile and its all good (you may have a few greys from it, but well worth it at the end of the day !)
