Re: Odor to discharge
a UTI wont hurt the baby as long as you get it treated right away...but it doesn't sound like a UTI at all, odor and discharge is usually a bacterial infection which also needs to be treated right away...just go to the Dr, have them do a culture and urinalysis and stay on top of it and you should be just fine

Re: Odor to discharge
Dont worry i've had 3 utis already and as long as they get taken care of you are fine. If they get let go, then it can go up into the kidneys and all that can become troublesome. Very common during pregnancy and very easily treatable.
Keep in mind alot of women complain about a strange kind of odor from discharge during pregnancy. I think everyone is different. Dont sweat or worry too much. I bet you will be fine and relieved on Thursday. I think hormones also play a role too.
