Re: Dr. appts.

I know many docs. are different. I dont get a sono at every appt. I had my first appt with my doc. after leaving RE at 10 weeks and that was my first sono. I know i go for a LEvel II next so i dont know when my next sono will be with my ob.

Re: Dr. appts.

My doctor did one on my first 3 appointments, then another one at 20 weeks for the Level 2, and I have not had one since. I will be getting one at my next appointment which is 36 weeks, and that will be a growth sono, to see how big the baby is.

Re: Dr. appts.

Depends on the doc. I had a sono at 9,13-ultrascreen, and 18-level ll and have my next one at 32 weeks.

Re: Dr. appts.

Yup, totally depends on the doctor. Also has a lot to do with your insurance coverage. I had an internal sono the first 2-3 doctor appts. I went to. Then the ultrascreen, then the anatomy sono. Haven't had one since, and my doctor said I probably won't have another one until the very end (unless there are issues) because MOST insurance companies do not cover more than that.

She checks the heartbeat now when I go.
