New Month = New Start.....
I know a lot of us had a really awful month last month, in the TTC/IF part of our lives (among other things). I am doing my best to believe that a new month= a new start, at least in my case (I could have 2 1/2+ months= a new start, thanks to this shot- lol). I'm hoping to go back for my next beta and find it negative, and then meet w/ my dr. the following week and figure out where we go from here. I want my next steps, I think they'll help me to jump this hurdle and look toward the future.
I want answers, but honestly, I'm not sure that I'm going to get them - and if I don't I guess I have to be ok with that and just look toward the future and hope for the best. It is driving me crazy that 'if' this was etopic, the chance of having another etopic increases by like 20%... I can't seem to get that out of my head and that figure will drive me crazy until I physically have our baby in front of me I guess.... whenever that time comes. Anyway, I'm getting off topic- sorry. I know school starts and it's a stinky month for all you teachers- but...
Here's to September and to new beginnings!!!  I feel so blessed and incredibly lucky to have each one of you in my life. You all continue to help me on a daily basis to overcome what has been the biggest hurdle in my life to date. Thank you all so much again.

New beginnings it is! When I saw the date on my computer change at midnight last night, I breathed a sigh of relief. One of the worst months of my life was finally over.
One thing I've learned throughout my IF journey and losses of loved ones was that NOTHING is guaranteed. When you're having a good day/week/month, enjoy it. Don't keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, b/c it will. It's inevitable. Deal with it when it drops, not a second before.
Easier said than done, but thinking this way has helped me be less insane.

Me too. I was SO SO SO glad to see it become September 1st!- I saw it turn at midnight too and breathed a sigh of relief as well. 
My birthday is 2 weeks from today- and honestly, I don't even care to celebrate. My last birthday sucked b/c it was the birthday I was always 'sure' (back when I had no clue obviosuly  ) that I'd def. be a mom by- it was my goal.
Then last month I thought (for a whole 4 days- shame on me for testing before beta day!!) that I'd be pg for this birthday and it wouldn't hit me so hard. Oh well, life goes on. We'll get thru it- I told DH he should take me away someplace.  Doubt that'll happen though- I have fairs the weekend before and the weekend after that I have to force myself to get ready for, b/c I haven't been a creative mood.  
I do feel that my negative attitude has changed a little - I got up early (after getting to bed late- always a good combo) and painted greenery on a bunch of stuff....so at least it's a start! 
So when is our next GTG? We should have one before it gets too cool-- maybe do a picnic type thing where everyone brings a dish or something.

Even thought I've been out of school for a trillion years (which is a lie b/c I went back to grad school and finished in 2005), I always think of September as a new beginning. And it looks like I'm going to be delayed with you. So, we can hang out together.
I like your new outlook. Once the hormones settle it gets easier. I was insane the other day but now its cd4 and I feel much better. I'm just trying to have fun in the meantime.

I am right there with you...thank god for a new month. I never thought i would say this (bc i am a teacher) but i am glad the summer is over, it was a nightmare.
I know how you have struggled with this and i am so sorry for your loss. It is so wonderful that you have gotten a new outlook! take these next 2 months to do something nice for yourself. it is so necessary to pamper yourself sometimes!!!

I agree! And, you can add me to the list of those sitting out September!! Unfortunately, AF came this past weekend. I am going to have a procedure to remove my uterine polyps. Hopefully, it will help, but it means no cycle in September. Oh well!
I hope its a productive fall for everyone here
