when did AF come back?
I think I got AF for like a day about 1 mth after delivery but not since then and DD is almost 4 mths! Should I be concerned? What's the longest you've heard someone go without getting AF PP?

I bf'd for 9 months but I did not get AF for 18 months PP. I do have irregular cycles to begin with.

i was just gonna post something about this.... i had my DD 6w ago. about a week ago i stopped bleeding and then about 4 days later i started again. its not red like a period, its more like a brownish discharge with a little red spotting. i dont have any cramps or anything that makes me feel like i have my AF except a few slight pains in my left side, but they come and go so quick. is this normal? is it my AF?

I BF for 3 weeks. I went over a year without anything. They did bloodwork and my prolactin hormone was high. My body basically thought I was breastfeeding even though I wasn't.
I had to go to an endo and he gave me a medication after a few months I got it back. This will be my 3rd month with a normal period. I had my daughter back on Jan 25 2007. Now that is a long time. If your concerned just have your ob do bloodwork.

EBF with both 
DD#1, around 9 months PP even though I was still BF
DD#2 is 9 months now and still BF and no AF.
I am also on the mini pill, not sure if that makes a difference.

AF came about 5.5 wks PP and then I spotted once after that but I haven't had a perioud since then (I'm now 5 months PP and EBF).

I breastfeed and I just got mine back at the end of June - DD was 10 1/2 months old! It hasn't been too bad.
