the cd drive is broken
Theres really nothing you can physicly do about it Other than actually calling sony and sending it in for repair.
on the other hand actually getting a movie encoded the correct way to play on a psp is a little tricky and I would only reccommend it to someone with intermediate experience or higher when it comes to video encoding.
and its somewhat illegal to rip dvd's or download them online without paying. so that leaves you with very little options other than sending it for repair and when the new one comes back just buying UMD cds for it.

I sat here for about an hour trying to figure out how to DL games and put it on the memory stick but it is WAAAAAY above my head...
