From fertlilzation report to transfer, did you still have the same number of embryos

I am wondering if any of you had less embryos from the day of the fertilization report to transfer, whether you did a five day or three day.

Hmm let me think

I had 13 retrieved
10 fertilized
2 put back in
5 frozen

So it seems I lost 3 in the time between retrieval and freezing.

First IVF, I lost 2 between fert report and transfer day. I had 5 out of 6 that fertilized w/ICSI. 2nd IVF I lost one between fert report and transfer day. I had 14 out of 18 fertilize.

I had a 3 day transfer both times. 1st none made it to freeze since we put all 3 back. 2nd 6 out of the 10 that remained after my transfer made it to freeze. Again, we put 3 back.

Nope! We had:

38 retrieved
30 mature
23 fertilized with ICSI
13 made it to 5dt
2 transferred and 11 frozen


ETA- I have no idea what was still around on day 3 so it's possible there were a lot more then.

Unfortunately, I lost some, but luckily I still had some to freeze. I had 13 retrieved, 11 fertilized, by day 3 I had 6 left 2 went in and 4 were frozen.

My last cycle I had
55 retrieved
32 fertilized
6 tranferred at 3days
26 frozen
I have done two FET's of 6 each and have 12 left - two didn't survive the thaw.

We had 7 at retrieval.
6 fertilized.
At the 3 day transfer, we still had all 6- we put back 2 and cryopreserved 4. HTH!

I think I had 14 retrieved then 11 fertilized then 7 to choose from.

We put two back and froze 5.

Gosh, I never thought about them not making it from the freeze.

Something new to stress about.

10 eggs retrieved, 7 fertilized, 5 of them "made it".

8 at retrieval, 6 the next day, 5 at day 3(2 transferred) all the rest arrested before freezing on day 5. That was a nervwracking weeks as we were self pay and had non to freeze.

9 at retrieval, 6 fertilized, 3 were put back and 1 was frozen (2 didn't make it to be frozen).

18 fertilized

I think either 5 or 7 made it to 5 day blasts

2 put back

none left to freeze...the rest didn't make it

Yes...We had 15 retrieved..
5 fertilized , put two in and froze 3.
