6 pounds in 3 weeks
I went for my 3-week check up and the nurse told me that I gained 6 pounds in 3 weeks!
Oh. my. God! 
Do you think it had anything to do with eating sushi (california rolls) with salty soy sauce yesterday? I kinda felt bloated...

My weight gain is really weird- I'll gain like 5 pounds in 2 weeks, and nothing for the next 3-4, even though I'm eating and doing everything the same.
I think bloating can definitely affect it. Were you weighed at the same time at the last office visit? I know I'm at least 3 pounds heavier at night.

Yeah I'm on track for a big gain next appt. I have done nothing different then I have been all pregnancy, I think baby just had a growth spurt cause my belly feels a lot bigger all of a sudden!!

It sounds like it may be from the salt intake. Drink alot of water today, and tomorrow. Do you have a scale at home that you can weigh yourself on to make yourself feel better?
Also, even though its easier said than done, try not to get down on yourself...at this point the baby could have went through a growth spurt~

Don't feel bad. At one point during my last pregnancy, I gained 5 lbs in 3 days!!

It could of been the salt in the sushi sauce, your going to retain a lot of water now, just becareful not to over do it with the salt, you don't want your BP to go up!!

I went to doc today also and gained 6 pounds as well since my last appt. This is after losing and gaining the same 3 pounds all pregnancy. I told my doc the same thing-that I feel like I retained a ton of water this week. She said it is prob the weather as well as salt intake and not to worry. Feel better!

yeah, I gained 4 lbs in 2 weeks 
I think some of it was water retension, becuase I simulataneously got granny ankle (and granny foot, and granny hands )
I swear some of this must be due to the heat  it's so sudden and extreme!

I weigh myself incessenantly its awful!!!! But I do notice that I can gay literally 2 pounds from one salty meal in itself and then its gone after a day or two so its definitely the salt!!!!!!

SAME WITH ME...I AM ON THE THING ALL THE TIME...IT IS CRAZY...AND AFTER A SALTY MEAL, ITS UP, BUT IF I DRINK WATER, AND EAT BETTER THE NEXT FEW DAYS, ITS "USUALLY" BACK DOWN.
