He is probably not hungry..just eating out of habit..I did that too!! You can try giving less each night..or give water instead. Other option is CIO..but i dont know how comfortable u are doing that...good luck!!!

have you tried just giving the paci instead of the bottle?

IMO i agree he isn't waking because he is hungry so i would just stop giving the bottles. My DS was waking a lot during the night and we did our form of CIO and it made a big difference

eta: how much is he drinking for his last bottle before bedtime?

Im new at this what is CIO?? I have tried giving him his binkie and water but he wont fall back asleep... my brother told me that they just left there baby in the crib and let him cry himself back to sleep and by a few nights he was sleeping through the night , ive tried that as well for a couple nights and it didnt work either

How many ounces does he drink during the day? How many before bed?

CIO - Cry It Out. Alot of moms have to do this in order to get the child to sleep through the night without waking. They pretty much wake during habit at that point - and not because he's hungry.

There are alot of different books out about CIO - and alot of moms on here have their own ways of doing it if that's something you would want to try eventually.

CIO and then if he still wakes up try going in there and just rubbing his back, he''s probably just looking for comfort.
