Questions for experienced moms :)
Hi Ladies, With two months to go I am seriously thinking about what I need for this baby when I come home! I am Jewish so I will not be having a baby shower but I do know that lots of people will purchase things after the baby is born. I just want to get the necessities for the first few days and if I don't get the other things I will go out and buy it afterwards. What do you suggest I buy before hand? Right now I have the crib, mattress and changing table in my garage along with the bedding (MIL was very generous but also doesn't get the Jewish superstition :) ) In addition I have a coming home outfit for him and a few more outfits. I have a bunch of Newborn diapers a friend gave me. I have a diaper bag. And thats about it. What else do you suggest. I am having a boy if that makes any sort of difference. Thanks so much!

I am Jewish as well and I pretty much just got the furniture, diapers, wipes, vaseline, thermometer, burp cloths... I also had a bunch of the disposable pads that go on top of the changing table, those were a lifesaver for big poop explosions!
Lots of onesies and a few outfits... I sent my husband out about a 100x to BBB and BRU the first few weeks to pick up the rest of the stuff...
The first few weeks you don't need too much...

Make sure you have a carseat. You can't leave the hospital without one.
Buy size 1 diapers. DS outgrew the NB size within days in was home.
