Cloth Diapers
Ok, I want to use cloth diapers, and I know of some companies I can buy them from, but does anyone know if any diaper services exist on LI?

Re: Cloth Diapers
RITEWAY DIAPER SERVICE: Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11208. 718-647-9000. Hours: Monday through Friday 8 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. GENERAL DIAPER SERVICE: 210 West Main Street, Patchogue, L.I. 516-289-0115 or 800-356-8602. Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M. to 5 P.M. SEVENTH GENERATION: 10 Farrell Street, South Burlington, Vt. 05403. 800-456-1177. Hours: 24 hours a day. The catalogue costs $2.
My mom used General Diaper Service 19 years ago when my sister was a baby, and 29 years ago when I was a baby, and before that for my sibs.
They were great. They dropped the diapers off right to the front door, picked up the dirty ones.
The clean ones were SPOTLESS.
They also provided a diaper pail, to store them in inbetween pickups.
Our diaper man was an older guy named "Tony" and he became such a staple in our lives, he was such a nice guy.

Also this is the article I got the info from, and if you read it there is also info on the costs for the two delivering services....it is definately cheaper then buying diapers, buy a few dollars.

Thanks so much! I have DH on board with using cloth diapers, but he is still about using our washing machine to clean them.
