We have a wedding to go to Friday night and i'm trying to think of a story as to why I'm not drinking and why I'm not going to go hang out at the afterparty all night (I've been in bed all week by like 9:30).
How did the wedding go? Did any suspect?
haha, well, kinda funny story. There would have been no suspects if my moron of a DH didn't yell out, "hon, i'm going to the bar, you want a soda or water?" every 10 freakin minutes.  He did this all through cocktail hour and finally when we sat down for dinner I turned to him and said, could you not advertise that all I'm drinking is friggin ginger ale and water. He's like, duh sorry.  his friend was like, "she's not drinking?" and he quickly said no she's on antibiotics or something, i forget exactly what he said, that one guy was the only one who outright asked. I swear I don't know what I'm going to do with him sometimes. So, let's hope no one caught on.

why wont my hormones balance out already and the m/s go away...I'm not complaining I'm just saying...(thats my new line) I love being pregnant...but m/s blows

I agree!!!.. I told DH that since i had bad m/s with my first i should be exempt from it with my second.. and i should skip straight to 2nd trimester, you should only have to do the 1st for the first baby so you get the true experience after that, no more with the rest.

Update on me!! Went to the doc today and had our first internal sono!
Saw the heartbeat and it is moving pretty fast! I am so happy I was so relieved you have no idea!
We go back in a month but all looks well and my dd is betwee 2/18/09 & 2/20/09!!

I am really depressed lately. I just keep feeling guilty about not being that energetic to play with Andrew all the time and not being able to sometimes put him to bed I am just sooo exhausted. I really try soo hard but sometimes I just can't physically do it.
I hope my energy level comes back really soon. That is my only major symptom thank goodness. No m/s yet and I am almost 10 weeks so I am hoping it doesn't come at all. I had it soo bad when I was PG with Andrew that I was hospitalized 2 x's.
I am having sick dreams about having an affair with Tony Soprano and I also can no longer go into my kitchen or bathroom without holding my nose. I don't know what it is but it makes me gag

Dont feel too guilty, after the first tri i'm sure your energy will come back. I am having weird dreams too, I'm sure it is normal- the doc said they will stop after the first tri and come back again during the third!
That is SOO Great to hear that you have no m/s! Neither do i! I'm hoping that we never get it!

Dont feel guilty sweetie..there is only so much you can do while raising a baby and growing a baby at the same time...you just do what you can...and yeah..i just had sex with some random man lastnight too in my dreams ...and its funny that you say that about the kitchen and bathroom...i feel the same way...and my house is a mess!!! I havent cooked for 8 weeks(thats how pregnant I am) and I just don't give my hubby the same attn...but its all ok... we only do as much as we can...feel better!

same with my place.. baskets and baskets of clean laundry and tons of dirty just laying around.. I did cook spaghetti and meatballs with garlic knots sunday.. but that was the first real meal in awhile that i cooked. and no intentions of cooking another anytime soon. I just want to sleep.

omg I'm the same way. I usually cook almost every night. I don't think I've cooked in about 3 weeks. I'm just too exhausted. And to stand over that stove...I just can't do it. My apt is a disaster and my poor DH. He hasn't been...ahem...tended to, in forever. He's been really great about it though. He knows I just have no desire at all. 
ETA: And the dreams--- I had a FABULOUS dream involving my jr. prom date the other night. Haven't seen the kid in at least 10 years so how he popped in there I have no idea, but damn, that was a good dream.

hi ladies... i have some great news.. while upstate visiting the inlaws for july 4th my sister-in-law announced she is also pregnant!!! we are the same age too and she is due about two weeks after me
how perfect the babies willl always have have fun together (we hope!)when we visit...

Hi... I haven't officially posted on this board... I post on Parenting now and then. Anyway, I'm 9 wks and I feel like I relate to every word of your post.
This pg is so different from my first one. My first one, I had food aversions and stuff and a little fatigue, but it didn't "slow me down", I was commuting back and forth to the city, working a lot of hours, etc. Now, I am a SAHM to my 2 year old and the fatigue is really bringing me down. Every day, I just drag myself through my activities with him, the errands, the chores, etc. My heart is not in any of it. I don't play as much with him, I let him run around and play with his t-ball and basketball hoop in the backyard while I'm sitting in a folding chair. I've also been more impatient and snippy with him. I hate myself for it.
So anyway, I totally relate. My mom swears I'm having a girl this time, lol, because I feel so differently from my last pg which was a boy.

Im experiencing too... With my dd i slept like crazy the first trimester, then during the 3rd i was up all night. So different in both my pregnancys.. i wonder if im having a boy this time.

Hi Ladies, Happy Friday!!
I am 8w2d and feeling a little better.. Just so Tired! It doesnt want to stop! I am tired in the am when I wake up, tired throughout the day and then exhausted at night!
My boobs are still killing me!!! I wonder when that will stop!!!
Also- could someone please change my hospital to LIJ.

I am now officially a Feb mommy! I had my first sono and my EDD was moved to 2/28! We got to see the HB and it was 119...very strong for that stage of development!
