WWYD: should I leave
My boss is out of the office and I feel like death. I was at the hospirtal all weekend with my grams and my stomach hurts. Do you think I can just leave?

It would depend on the office enviornment.
If everything depended on me, I'd probably suck it up.
If not, I'd call him & let him know. I would not email him unless he had instant acess to email & would be able to confirm that he's received it.

I would leave. I would shoot him an email telling him you're sick and really need to go home but you'll be checking your voicemail throughout the day (I always like to throw in the checking of the VM.... it makes me feel like they know I'll be doing what I can while I'm gone).
