So I Went to the "Mingling Moms Night Out" Last Night...Dina Lohan Was There
All in all it was a fun night out with my girlfriends, had some cocktails, some food (it was at Carlyle on the Green).
They had lots of vendors (didn't buy anything), tarot card reader, raffles, etc..
LOTS of women came, it was packed to the gills, they definitely have some kinks to work out in terms of the raffles ( we had to stay an extra hour to hear all of the numbers called ).
The worst part though...
DINA LOHAN was there with her "entourage"..and get this, she was actually honored for being such a "great Mom"- are you freakin' kidding me????
She stormed in the room like such a beyotch, she truly does not seem like a nice person.
My friends & I went up for a dance later in the night & I was dancing right next to her- I believe she may have had her camera crew there filming a bit for her upcoming reality show- so who knows- maybe you'll see me on it in the background making fun of her-LOL!!!

I was going to post today and ask if anyone from here went. She was on the news last night and the background was for Mingling Moms...I thought this was the event she went too

I was there, too! It had a huge turn out. While I liked the pomengranate martinis it was not worth the $65 
Tons of cameras etc when we were walking in.

I saw that on the news this morning and thought... "Are they completely dillusional?"
I'm so glad I didn't go, because no way would I have been able to keep my mouth shut while the presentation was going on 
Why couldn't they honor a mom who, against all odds, raised children who defied the circumstances they were born into and became well-adjusted, hard-working, generous young people/adults who give back to society in a postive way. We need to honor more inspirational women, not train-wrecks.
Oh, but that's right, the trashy tabloid shows and mags won't cover that
I'm glad you had a good time and a well-deserved night out.

I agree..though those martinsi had like a teaspoon of alcohol in them- seriously.
For $65, I want some real liquor and I don't want to wait in line for 20 minutes for my food!
ETA: The "goodie bags" were bags filled with advertisements, coupons, 2 trial size hair products, a plastic baby bowl and I think a picture frame. Nothing great- it's no Shecky's.

Now I'm glad I didn't go - I can't believe they thought she would be a mother of the year As to the cost - doesn't surprise me they charge a lot for the regular group and it is clear from what they give they make out like bandits. Hopefully most of that money went to the charity. But glad to hear it was a nice night out - everyone deserves that!

I saw that on the news too but wasn't really paying attention, didn't know she was at that party.
Sounds like cheesy gift bags....
I wanted to go but I put DS to bed at 9 and by the time I get to Nassau
I guess it was good I didn't go.

And now hell has officially frozen over -- Dina Lohan was celebrated last night as an outstanding mom of the year at a Long Island charity event.
Her husband Michael told us that she was supposed to be at a court-ordered family therapy session just blocks away at the same time, but she chose to attend what looked more like a bachelorette party than an event celebrating celeb moms organized by a group called Mingling Moms.
Of course, the same group also gave Jennifer Lopez an award for being a great mom, and she hasn't been a mom for three months.

I think thats hysterical that she was honored for anything.. Its such a shame that she doesnt just go be a mom , instead she is pimpin out her younger daughter now
