If YOU had planned your own wedding proposal...
HOW would it have happened??
I have never been officially proposed too but I would love to go into the city..spend an evening out to dinner..then go see a play (im dying to see beauty and the beast) and then take a walk outside cause the nite is crisp--and then it happens on bended knee in a park somewhere...
thats one scenario! I have about a million LOL
all i do KNOW is I would never want it in front of other pple--i get tooo shy and nervous, and i think its unspecial with a crowd lol

i'm not sure i've never thought about it,
i dont think i would've changed the way mine was done, i just wish i didnt have a feeling it was that day, wish i was more surprised

Actually this is almost mine to a t I went into the city 12/23 we went to rothmans steakhouse, after dinner we went onto fifth avenue I was looking in the Harry Winston window he asked if I wanted to go on a horse and buggy ride before going to the tree (to meet friends) . I said ok we went on the ride and when we got half way through he proposed I screamed of course he said omg don't scare the horse......  we got off and i said lets go meet up with everyone and he said oh no honey no one is there it was a coverup to get you here .he had a room at the plaza hotel reserved and we stayed the night .. we did go to the tree but by ourselves and just walked around the whole night and the off to the hotel PERFECT !

I really loved mine, but another way I would love equally is having it done at the beach. We lived in Florida and almost everyday afterschool/work we would get in the jeep, get sandwiches and go to the beach to watch the sunset. They were such great memories, and due to my complexion, the only time I could enjoy the beach is when the sun goes down.
But I think if he would have pulled a ring out there, it would have been wonderful, simple...but so us.

This would be my "dream" too! Mine wasnt like this @ all, but, he got the job done..LOL

It's fun and sad all at the same time Should have been a warning sign right there and then that my romantic boyfriend would not be a romantic husband.

Actually I probably wouldn't change a thing.
DH brought me down to the beach on a snowy day (actually the day started as a rainy day then we had a snow storm after). So we went down to the beach - which during the winter was not unusual. And we were standing on the beach with the BIGGEST snowflakes coming down and he got down on one knee and proposed.
DH never knew that I had always dreamed of being proposed to in the snow

That is exactly how I wanted mine to be and that was the original plan DH had but *I* ruined it. He had gotten us tickets to Les Mis and like an idiot, I invited 2 other couples along not thinking anything was going to happen that night.  DH got mad that I invited others, we had a little spat about it and I figured out why he had gotten so mad -- he was planning on proposing in the middle of Times Square that night. 
His proposal was romantic nonetheless but that was my dream proposal...sigh...and I have no one to blame but myself!

It was an amazing night however we are now in divorced ... I wish it wasn't this way cause just writing this made me tink of how sweet he USE to be unfortunately it did not stay this way

same here
BUT I never had this dream of being propposed in mind, so when it happened I was not disappointed at all. It was just in our apartment, very low key, and he said some really genuinely sweet, meaningful things SO that made up for any romance that was lacking 
But neither of us are incredibly romantic and or mushy SO in the end, the proposal was simple and perfect for "us"
ONLY thing I always begged of him is to NEVER EVER propose to me at a baseball game.. (1) because we hate each other's teams/stadiums and (2) i'm the type that hates those type of proposals!! (and usually root for the girl to SAY NO when they announce them at games  .. I know, so bad)

well when DH & I were going to marry we were 19 and he proposed...I was so mad at him that I said no! I won't marry you till you grow up. I made him return the ring. He grew up & we got married a few years later. 
ETA: I wouldn't change it.

I love how DH proposed. We were camping and proposed by the fire. The only thing I wish was different was that I pretty much knew it was coming. I wish he had figured out some way to make it a complete surprise, but after 8 years together I guess that would have been tough!
