When did you retire the Excersaucer/Jumperoo?

These things are taking up SPACE...But I would like to get every last pennies worth of use out of them.

Today he was in the jumperoo for a few minutes and had fun, but kinda not into either anymore ..

He will be 9 Months Sat.

I think Bryan was about 8 or 9 months when we finally put the excersaucer away. He never had a jumperoo.

Re: When did you retire the Excersaucer/Jumperoo?

DS will not go in his exersaucer anymore. So I would say he retired that at like 6.5months.

Once he started crawling and cruising he didnt want to even see that thing.

We got one for DS when he was 4 months old. He used it until the last moment possible. I think he was almost a year. We decided it was time to pack it up when he was jumping so hard that he would move it.Chat Icon

DD hasn't liked her jumperoo for about 6 weeks. She basically won't go into her exersaucer either now that she is cruising - she prefers to walk around it than to play in it.

Are you supposed to retire the exersacuer when they can stand flatfooted in it?

once Kaitee could crawl (6 months) she no longer wanted to be contained so we stored it then.

ds is almost 10 months and i'll put him in the jumperoo for maybe 5 minutes a day (if i want to eat or pee Chat Icon .) he also still uses the exersaucer but stands on the outside to play with the toys. i got a bunch of the extra toys that snap on so it's all new to him and we'll keep it out and rotate the toys till he gets bored.

At almost a year I still put dd in the exersaucer with some cheerios in the morning for ten minutes as I get dressed.... I am hating the idea of finding an alternative to keeping her busy those few minutes!

We still use that little exersaucer/bouncer thing we have. He usually just watches tv in it or hangs out while we are getting ready or something.

Once DS starting standing he really didn't want any part of the Jumerpoo so I guess around 9 months. DD is almost 8 months old and still enjoys them both.

Same here. Only Steven was crawling at 6 months. I didn't get much use out of all that stuff. Maybe the jumparoo a little more than anything else, but that's it.Chat Icon
