LIRR Service Advisory...
Here we go...
The 3:24 PM train from Flatbush Avenue scheduled to arrive at Long Beach at 4:15 PM, is being held at Valley Stream due to switch problems. LIRR personnel are on the scene assessing the situation.

The 3:24 PM train from Flatbush Avenue scheduled to arrive at Long Beach at 4:15 PM, is operating 20 minutes behind schedule. This train was previously held at Valley Stream due to a switch problem. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I was thinking about taking the LIRR home- but I think I will take my chanes with the express bus
we were only 20 minutes later then normal this morning
