stripes in nursery
I'm trying to decide how I want to paint the nursery. I've seen some pics of nurseries with stripes. Did you do stripes in your nursery - and do you have pics to share?
thanks!

Re: stripes in nursery
Hi there - stripes in the nursery look awesome... my mom is a vendor on here (Something Different by Debbie Viola) and she has stripes posted on her site:

Re: stripes in nursery
I did them. I had 4 colors. The main color I did the bottom half of the wall and the big 8"stripe.
The top half of the wall was 8" light blue, 1" white, 2" dark blue, 1" white, 4" medium blue, 1" white, 2" dark blue, 1" white...repeat
It was some work - but once I got into the swing of taping level lines, it went pretty quickly. Doing only half (well 2/3) the wall helped too.
I will say that the drawback is finding things to hang on the wall. My aunt did a great painting and I have to figure out how it will work. And a friend of mine put together a really nice name frame, but I'm afraid the colors clash.

Sorry the border isn't up yet, but I took this pic before Marron was born, and we didn't know what she was yet. We chose these colors because they would work for whichever border we were going to use (for boy or girl)

Re: stripes in nursery
Stephanie - thanks for finding those photos. I found a bunch online but those were nicer than the ones I found.
Anyone else paint stripes in their nursery?
