spinoff to wrong numbers
Anyone with Optimum- have you noticed that if you're watching TV, and you get an incoming call, your caller ID shows up on your TV screen?
So cool.

Our landlord's (who lives upstairs from us) caller ID used to pop up on our TV because we're on the same cable (if that makes sense). There is a way to turn it off though.

Popular thread topic lately. They're about 7 or so years behind satellite, though. We've had that forever with DishNetwork. Our current receiver actually stores the last 50 or so numbers in one of the on-screen menus.

I know about it now but when it first came out and I had no idea about it DH had some fun with me. when the phone would ring he would yell your mom is calling, your friend Katie is calling, your brother is calling. I thought he was psychic then I learned he was just lame.

I love that!! When it first happened I was watching TV and DH was on the computer working and the phone rang and I said "it's so-and-so" and he thought I was guessing... then he looked at the caller ID, saw I was right about who it was and looked at me like I was a crazy freak!  I totally should've played it off a bit longer than I did
