I do the same thing sometimes when i'm home alone! I ALWAYS leave the hallway light on and the kitchen light when I go to bed alone. You are NOT alone AT ALL!

im afraid of the dark so yes, this happens to me all the time.
ps - im not joking - i'm almost 30 years old and i am deathly afraid of the dark. something traumatic from my childhood and i just cant be in the dark, especially alone!

Well, working in a very haunted school has made me LESS afraid of the dark in my own home, but MORE afraid of the dark at work I get to work when there's only one or two other people there and everything is dark, I've memorized where everything is in the hallway and my classroom so I can run with my head down and not look until I turn on the lights

I do this in the dark basement...I think Ive seen one to many horror flicks.
