Democratic Running Mates
Who do you think the democratic nominee should choose as a running mate.
Would Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama be a "dream ticket"?
I think John Edwards is kind of an ideal running mate (white Southern man).
What about Biden? Kucinich?
Something completely different?

Re: Democratic Running Mates
I think Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama is a losing ticket! I don't think the country is ready for a Black or Female President. And certainly not both on one ticket.
BUt I also don't think John Edwards is a good running mate. He didn't even pull his own state when he was Kerry's VP. I think whoever wins needs an older, white, more conservative running mate. No suggestions though.

Re: Democratic Running Mates
I don't think either combination of Clinton/Obama would work.
For Clinton I think Wesley Clark will be the VP Candidate.

Re: Democratic Running Mates
I think a woman AND a black man is too much for people.
But I think Clinton/Obama would be a better ticket then Obama/Clinton.
I think Clinton would GAIN voters with Obama on the ticket, I think Obama might lose some.
Obama would get the black vote and young people, and might soften Clinton and make her more palatable to Clinton haters who LOVE Obama.
I think Clinton would keep the swing voters away from Obama's ticket.
So many people just have this Clinton hate.
