DH is a teacher and...
We lost our GHI insurance card. Is there a way they will send us a new card if we call them up?
Has this happened to anyone who has GHI?

I hope not. I just don't understand how it could have gotten lost. DH always puts it in his wallet. He's always careful about things like this. I feel bad cuz he's all upset that he can't find because he knows he's careful about things like this so it bothers him that he would be so careless in loosing the insurance card.

I dont have GHI but when my dh lost his wallet, we called our insurance and let them know and then they just sent us new cards. Since our SS# are no longer on them, its not a big deal, the insurance just wants to know its lost, so if someone does try and use, they know its a fraudlent claim.

i would just call, a new card shouldnt be a problem, if you need it asap i would have the insurance company fax your info to the dr office

You don't have the same exact card? DH is FDNY and we have GHI and DH, DS and I all have the same exact card.
