OK THEN get dh to help me with it i am usually so good with this kinda stuff.... but everytime i hit a button i go somewbere other then i thought i would go...... i did manage to record my one show... but am having a hard time trying to record ghost whisper... i know it more then likly have to to with it is repeats but i still want to see them being i missed them... does that make sence

press record button (button with red circle in the middle - when your watching something or via the guide button (io button) and follow the insructions on screen...

You have the Cablevision DVR? If you want to record something that will be coming on later or another day, first press the GUIDE button, then press SELECT (channel guide will be highlighted in yellow) Using the blue button arrows, scroll across and down to the show you want to record. Press the SELECT button. Hit SELECT then it'll ask some questions, if you want to record 1 episode or all, etc. The rest is self explanatory. Hope this helps!
