I don't mean to be debbie downer and I guess nothing is wrong with coffee but I would say slow down. You just got out of a relationship.
I say go for coffee but maybe spend some time on your own enjoying a little you time too.
I appreciate your words of caution...but the truth is my current BF and I are not officially broken up. We are still living together but more as friends and roomates...for another 2 weeks. So since we have not ended things yet I would never do anything more with VERY cute doctor friend other than have coffee....and BF knows about the email and the coffee. I would never do anything disrespectful to him. However my excitement over the coffee just shows me more, how ready I am to move on!
The point of me sharing this story was for the fact that it was something fun and exciting to share that wasn't so down and sad like my posts have recently been.
Thank you all for always being there. I will continue the updates....

First OFF why are you even telling STBX about your email from the doctor?? (insert head scratching here) I don't get it....YOU are moving out and moving ON.......the only thing your STBX needs to know is maybe your new phone number..it didn't work for a reason.......
As far they doctor goes, I'd say GO FOR it...things happen for a reason and it's not like you met this guy a minute ago you have been aquaintences for almost 2 years and by ALL means keep the current boyfriend talk under raps, trust me NO man wants to hear about your man and blah blah blah and boo hoo I'm moving out...woo's get my drift 
All that doctor needs to know is you were in a relationship and now your not!!!!! don't go on and on about how you are still there for another two weeks...... Enjoy the date and it's all about timing girl and this is your time to shine!!!! Have fun!!! and let me know if he has a friend!!
