Those of you with Verizon Fios

What do u find are the benefits of having it? Is there any price difference b/t verizon and cablevision? What don't you like? Thanks so much!

I have it.

Benefit? It's not Cablevision. So far the customer service has been much better, more responsive and NICER than I had experienced with Cablevision.

Also - the tv picture IS cleaner and sharper.

And Fios has BBC America - which I LOVE.

The bad? It's more expensive than Cablevision - or at least it is in my experience so far. Cablevision has been trying to woo me back and to be honest with an almost $50 savings per month... their argument IS compelling. I have to carve some time out to bring their offer to Verizon to see if they will counter.

Yes its cheaper for a heck of a lot better service

I love my DVR

I had lots of hiccups on optimum before and I hated it freezing and getting all scrambled

I get BBC
I get NFL Network
HD for lots of channels Food, Discovery, HGTV, ESPN, SciFi, etc
