my aunt said she would watch our baby...

but i havent talked to her about it in a while. The baby is due in May and I'll be home for the summer so this would start in September when I go back to work. I feel that we should offer to pay her something but I don't know how much. I'm not sure if she'd be up for the full 5 days or just a couple of days a week. That said...if she does watch the baby for say 2 or 3 days a week...how much should we pay her? If it's all 5 days...how much? We would provide her with food and diapers and other necessities.

We had a friend of the family watch DD in the beginning. We paid her $50 per day which she thought was fair.

when i sat for my sisters first child, she gave me $50 for the one day b/c i gave up my fulltime job with benefits to help her out.
