Hello girls!
Hello, I am new here, we'll actually on this board. I used to post on TTC. (This is an undercover name) After trying to conceive for a few months I began to feel suspicious something was wrong with me. I listened to my gut and I saw a fertility specialist. After much heartache, he said I had something called premature ovarian failure. I was devastated!!!!! I have always wanted to have children pretty young. As a matter of fact I had 3 previous pregnancies in the past, none of which either I, my boyfriend at the time or now my husband was ready for.
I began to blame myself for what I had done, and why after all that I wasn't able to conceive naturally. Well needless to say needed to put all that behind me in order to move forward. The dr. said we should be aggressive with this condition and he recommended IVF. I am very lucky to have an insurance company who is picking up the tab for it. (I am allowed 4 tries) I would NEVER have been able to afford it otherwise.
I started my cycle this month. Today is my 3rd day taking Brevelle. I am on a cycle that's called "antagonistic cycle"
I am reaching out to you girls because I feel very lonely in this process. I am lucky to have 1 friend that has gone through this before (she is now expecting a baby girl) But other than that, no one else really understands what I'm going through. I am scared, it won't work. A baby is all I want in this world. DH and I have talked about adoption if it doesn't work and I am ok with that. But deep down we all know its not the same. Experiening pregnancy is something in a woman's soul. Well anyway, I am here and I hope I can be a support to you as I am sure you will all be for me. Thanks for listening and good luck to everyone going through this difficult situation in their lives!
