oh my god- helicopters searching in our area
we live in huntington and there are 2 helicopters searching in our yard and neighbors yard. so scary. they woke up the baby. called the precienct but they said they were rapping it up now. but now they have spotlights on the our front yard and across the street. glad dh is home now.

That is the scariest feeling. When we had an apartment near the Nassau jail, this happened 2 times. Scary!!!!!

precient said domestic dispute but i think thats a line. dh is watching the window with a 9 iron and said a cop just drove by but the helicopters keep flying over and rattling the windows because they are really low.

My friend used to live over by Woodhull. If it's a domestic dispute, it's escalated.

the helicopters stopped now but i had a screaming toddler for awhile. all my neighbors were calling each other and one was in her backyard. we called her and told her to get back inside. never know with psychos out there.

I know I'm too late, but I totally agree. Stay inside and away from the windows if you are worried.
I hope it's all over by now.  What a horrible feeling!

yeah no info in the newspaper this morning as i expected. it was just so scary sounded like the helicopter was going to land in our court.

It's not the first time there has been an escalated domestic dispute in the neighborhood. I had an incident over the summer too.
