Question
AF is 4 days late, I took a hpt yesterday and it was negative. Has anyone gotten a false negative? How long did you wait to retest? Do you know why you would get a false negative 4 days late? Just wondering. If AF doesn't show up by Monday I'm going to call my Dr.
PS I'm on birth control, but I messed up my pills this month, I took two in one day at the beginning of the cycle because I wasn't paying attention to what day it was and thought that I had forgotten to take my pill in the morning so I took another one at night only realizing afterwards that I didn't forget to take it, I was just doing it on autopilot.

With my first I did not get a positive until I was about 4-5 days late. So yes you can get a false negative. I would test again tomorrow and then call the doctor on Monday if you still don't have it.

With my 1st I never got a positive HPT, when I went to the Doc I was already 7-8 weeks p/g. However messing up your pills could mess up AF I think!
