registry question
They seem to have more of a selection at BBB than at BRU. Would it be mean of us to register there instead of BRU even though BRU is more convenient for everyone?

Re: registry question
I registered at both places and most people went to BRU-I only got a few things off of the BBB registry.

Re: registry question
I guess it really depends how far away it would be for everyone. For me it was to far away...about 30-45 minutes away. BRU is around 15 minutes.

Re: registry question
I registered at both and very few people bought from the BBB registry. I would be afraid of getting a lot of stuff not on the registry if I only registered at BBB, since there aren't as many stores as BRU.

Re: registry question
I will register for most of my items at BRU. If BBB happens to carry a certain pattern or item that I really want, I will register for a few things there as well, but BRU is more convenient for my friends and family.
I guess you can look up the locations of BBB stores and see if these stores are close enough to your friends and family.

Re: registry question
I always shop online so I wouldn't even worry about it being a little far away. Where I live there is no BRU within a half hour and my friends still register there. For us PBK is closer but obviosuly doesn't have everything. We also have a Target and Right Start.

Re: registry question
I'm the type of person who needs to see things, and since there are no BBB's in Vegas, I had to go with BRU.
Just keep in mind that people may be the same way who are buying you gifts.... they may want to actually see what they are buying, and if there is no BBB where they can go shopping they may not want to purchase off that registry...

Ditto. I made a note on the online section of BRU that I was also registered at BBB for Stroller, car seat and other things - in case someone had their heart set on buying one of these items for us.

Re: registry question
I only registered at BBB. Nobody has really complained about it and things seem to be coming off the registry.

Re: registry question
I think if you register at both places, people will go by the BRU registry more but if you only register at BBB, what are they going to do - that's where you're registered.
