Co-workers

Do co-workers feel obligated to tell u that u look good when u are pregnant?
Seriously, i've never looked so bad, chest is too big, face is completly broken out and i've got a belly which doesn't even look like a pregnant belly, just looks like i'm fat right now.

Unfortanetely, i haven't been struck with the pregnancy glow. At least not yet.

I guess they mean well.

Re: Co-workers

It is much better than people telling you that you don't look good. Chat Icon Try to look at the positive side of it. Chat Icon

Re: Co-workers

I have recently been told,

"Pregnancy looks good on you"

Like, what does that mean? I wear the same clothes every week, I'm eating everything in site and I pee every 15 minutes.

Re: Co-workers

Someone was honest with me this morning...and it stung. She walked into my office and said, "You don't look good". Truth be told, I don't look good today - I look as tired as I feel (poor sleep this week), I look pale and I spent the morning throwing up. Yay.

Otherwise, everyone (even this girl) tells me I have the glow.

Be happy...the alternative feels like crap. Chat Icon

Re: Co-workers

Yeah, i guess i didn't think of the alternative. That would irritate me more.
I'd prefer if they said nothing, but i think people feel a need to make comments when one is preggo.

Re: Co-workers

I'd rather they say I look good then I look bad (which I've had many people tell me)

Re: Co-workers

I'm just really tired of walking in there day after day, and having them ask me... how do you feel today?

Ok, I was a b!tch yesterday, and I'm still a b!tch today, so leave me alone.... When I feel good, I'll talk to you, now leave me alone and let me do my thing!

I'm seriously cranky today.... Can you tell?????
