baby shower question
what do you do at a baby shower? i have never been to one and i want one. i have heard of games but im not sur ei am into those. i doint want it to be boring. what do you do if you dont play games? open gifts and eat?

That is it, I didn't have games at mine either, typically eat, drink ,socialize, open gifts....think of it like a bridal shower only by the time you have your shower most people feel like they have a bowling ball in thier belly!! LOL!

I am so not a fan of the typical shower.. games and so on. Mine was nice. We ate, had a good time and opened gifts. It took 3 hours to open my gifts. I ahte being center of attention (opening gifts in front of people, but I know it's expected so I sucked it up ) By the time I knew it, it was late and ready to end the shower.

My baby shower was last weekend. There were no games. There was a raffle in which I picked out two names from a hat. Those that won got prizes. I also went to a shower last month in which they had another kind of raffle. everyone wrote on a card when they think the baby will arrive as well as the birth weight and put a dollar in the pot. Once the baby is born, the person who came closes to the actual date/birthweight wins all the money in the pot.
Otherwise, we just ate and opened gifts.
