Still Here...
Today is my due date, and at least as of right now (7:00 pm), no sign of a baby on the way.
I know I should be grateful that my baby was not born too early and that he appears to be healthy, but I am so ready to have him--I just feel more and more drained with each day that goes by, and I'm on edge and very cranky. Then I start to feel guilty about not enjoying this time more and being thankful for a healthy baby. Maybe he just needs a little more time in there, and I'm rushing things.
Maybe tomorrow!

Don't feel guilty. I can't even imagine the anticipation you are feeling and the yearning to want to hold your baby.
You are so close. You have every right to have these feelings, I know I would.

I remember it well... I was due on father's day - no sign of a baby... but 6 am the next morning, my water broke! so things can change from minute to minute... hang in there

I feel for you...I was hoping my DD would come on her due date, but that came/went. Thankfully they sked the induction at my appt on my due date so I had that in the back of my mind at least (my water then broke on its own the day they wanted to induce)

Thank you for the labor vibes and messages! Still nothing so far today, though as many of you said, this can change at the drop of a pin.
At least I know I should have him Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest if he doesn't come out on his own.
I am really looking forward to seeing him--I had an ultrasound Friday that gave me the best view I've had yet of his face (it wasn't 3 or 4D, just standard, but it came out well), and he looks so sweet! Can't wait till he joins us!

I was a week late..... of course when the doc said that they would induce the next day i went into labor that night.....
enjoy just laying around. i know its easier said then done, but just relax!
