Kids Haircuts

DS had his first haircut in disney world and he was really good. This time we took him to Zippity Doo's where they cater to kids, have tv's on every station and the seats that look like cars, etc. and he was hysterical. But the real kicker was the price. When they told me $24 for a boys haircut, I nearly fainted! I should've asked before they cut it.

Are there any more reasonable hair salons around that cater to kids? I just dont want to bring him into a normal adult place yet bc its one thing to cause a scene in a kids place but I would really be mortified if he was the only one there kicking, crying, screaming and banging his head.

Thank God DD doesnt need hers cut yet.

went to Curly Q in Jericho for JAcob's first haircut and for 10 minute it was $28 ... I did it for the gimmick since they got a certificate and lock of hair blah blah blah..

going forward, I am going to the barber shop in Plainview by Shoprite... They have the cars and trucks for the kids to sit in and tv's too but the price is $15.. that I can handle...

check out local barber shops, they usually have a chair for kids...
