Love the Toot and Puddle series by Holly Hobbie. She no longer draws the girls with hats from our youth (had a HH lunchbox!) Instead draws little pigs in stories of friendship. So cute
Also love Sandra Boynton and Eric Carle
DH loves politics so I got E is for Empire a New York State Alphabet

"Dark" by David SimaSim
DS made the title, created the author's name, wrote and illustrated the book, even bound the pages with scotch tape. We often read what he wrote, or write new pages...
