3D/4D compared to regular Ultrasound
Is it possible to find out the baby's gender a lot quicker with a 3D/4D scan as oppose to a regular Ultrasound being you have a clearer picture?
If so how early?
Thanks!

Re: 3D/4D compared to regular Ultrasound
Anyone
I know it's too early for me to get anything done right now being the genitals are still forming but I'm just really curious besides a co-worker of mine who is 16 weeks was wondering the same.
Thanks!

Impact's site says:
How far along should I be before I have a 4D sonogram? If you plan on having only one session, we recommend having the exam performed between 24 and 34 weeks. However, excellent images can be obtained from 16 to 38 weeks. Many mothers opt for our 2-visit Platinum package to see the baby's growth from the second to the third trimester. For twins, we recommend scans before 30 weeks.

Re: 3D/4D compared to regular Ultrasound
I've heard they can be wrong before 16 weeks as far as predicting the gender. I've heard of a few finding out before then, but I've also heard that the 4D sonos are a little scary when the baby is that small because it looks like an alien.

Hi Kelly!!!
What a fantastic Christmas surprise that's going to be for you!!!
Well, I guess I'm definitely out around that time being I will be 17 weeks the week of Christmas. Although, I have a good chance of finding out right in time for the New Year!!
Good luck with everything!

Re: 3D/4D compared to regular Ultrasound
Where do you go for the 3D/4D sonos? And do you have to pay for them seperately?

I think you just tell them that you don't want to know, and they will stay away from that area.
