how early
how early can someone have a baby without it being a concern?

I believe anything before 37 weeks is considered premature. Lungs are not fully developed until 37 weeks I believe. But I think after 32 weeks most premature babies survive without complications and with some help.

My friend(who's an ob nurse) said that at 24 weeks your baby is viable. Of course a concern...but it isn't considered a 'miscarriage' anymore at 24 weeks...they will do everything to save the baby!

I went into early labor with my daughter at 34 weeks. I was told that we had to hold off and do everything to keep her in until 36 weeks. 34 week would of had some complications, but she would be alive.

My friend delivered her twins b/t 25-26 wks. One passed away, but the other is 2 1/2 and doing great. So, I guess it depends.
