Re: Meals for your 1 yr. old
He hates stage 3 foods, and I don't blame him. He ate basically whatever we ate at 1 yr old making sure to cut everything very small. At 14 months, I do still give him stage2 veggies to make sure he eats them because he will just throw them off his tray.

Re: Meals for your 1 yr. old
We're having trouble getting DD to eat table food so she's still eating baby food (either stage 3 or 2.) For breakfast she has a fruit and some cereal. Lunch is a veggie & a yogurt or jar of fruit. Dinner is a meat/veggie combo and fruit or yogurt. Sometimes she'll eat a fruit cereal bar, but she's refusing table food like chicken, peas, carrots, sweet potatoes.

Re: Meals for your 1 yr. old
DD is 11 months and milk free...
Breakfast is usually: oatmeal/rice cereal with stage 2 fruit waffles pancakes bagel with cc Yogurt (need to start eggs)
Lunch & dinner (lunch is usually left overs)
Stage 2 veggies or peas, stringbeans, carrots, corn or brocolli (warning brocoli made her very gassy!)
Chicken (all kinds, baked, cutlets, etc), roasted or backed potatoes, pasta (w/tomato sauce, oil & garlic, milk free butter), pot roast, turkey balls, beef & veggie stew, grilled cheese, pizza, canned soup (she likes to self feed so I drain the broth and let her pick at the stuff), chili, burger.
That's it so far. I can't think of anything else I've tried. I'd like to give her more stuff but it's hard trying to make everything milk free.
OH and she'll eat a stage 2 meat/veggie combo or stage 3 when I'm lazy. She doesn't prefer it so it's rare.

Re: Meals for your 1 yr. old
Ds just turned 1 and this is an average day.... 8-8:30 am Ego Nutrigrain waffle- we used to break it into small pieces but now he liked to bite things, so I give it to him in quarters. Then he has a 6oz bottle of milk 11-11:30am a snack of either cut up fruit or cheese and crackers 1-1:30pm he'll either have a yogurt and veggies or an omelet with veggies and cheese mixed in. Then a 6oz bottle of milk 4-4:30pm a snack of either fruit or crackers (based on what he had for a morning snack) 6:30 either pasta and a veggie, a Gerber Graduate, or whatever we're eating and a 6oz bottle of milk
he doesn't really eat baby food anymore, but I will give him a Stage 2 veggie if I have nothing else prepared. He LOVES steamed broccoli so I usually have some in the fridge. He'll also eat canned or frozen peas and carrots.

Re: Meals for your 1 yr. old
DD pretty much eats anything. she does stil eat baby food but she also eats what we have too- miso soup, veggies, pieces of chicken, beef, etc.
I make "hamburger" patties with different spices in it. For example, last night i made ground turkey and added garlic, tomato paste, and egg, and italian breadcrumbs- they come out moist and way tastier than regular burgers.
I also make a version w. ginger, soy sauce and scallions.
as a general rule i DO NOT feed by daughter the following foods: chicken fingers mac & cheese pizza spaghetti w. butter & cheese McDonalds
she has such a good appetite and I know if I introduced these foods, it would be all she wants
