Remote Start
I am getting Remote Start for Danielle's new truck. I was going to go to the shop that did the install on my Subaru. Just wondering if anyone else had some recommendations on places to buy and to install the remote start. thanks

Re: Remote Start
I have a manual transmission (you can't get remote start) so my remote start is my DH going outside and starting it every morning
In my old car we had it done by the dealer we bought the car from because they said it would affect the warrantee if we had it done elsewhere (don’t know if that was true or not) I think it was $300.

Re: Remote Start
Just got this done to my truck. It was $250 installed. Audio Planet, Huntington. I have no alarm on the car. It would have been more if I did. I only have the remote keyless entry.

Re: Remote Start
My truck remote start was installed by the dealer. My car was installed at a car stereo place nearby.
Check the distance that you can start the car from. My car remote has a two-way remote, so the fob shows what is going on, if it's started, if the alarm is going off, which sensor of the alarm triggered, etc. I also have the front side windows tied into the remote, so I can open and close the windows with the remote. Nice if it's really hot, and you don't feel like going outside just to vent the windows, or if it starts to rain and the windows are open already, and you want to close them.

Hi Scott,
We had a Viper remotestart/alarm put in our truck at PC Richards in Bayshore. I'm Pretty sure most PC richards do installs.

Re: Remote Start
audio design in hicksville
many dealerships even send their cars there when they dont have time to put in the alarms themselves
