If you had a coffee table with drawers...
would you have the drawers face the couch or face out?
I say face the couch; my mom says face out--to show the "design."

I was wondering the same thing. Our coffee table has drawers and they face the couch, I think I should turn it around because the other side looks so plain, but DH disagrees.

Ha Ha!! This is actually one of those questions you scratch your head about!
Honestly, my instinct tells me to face it out. In my tiny little head it just fits that way. Not too sure why though. Sorry if I was no help!

We have one drawer and a hatch-type thing that opens on the top. Both face the couch.
My reasoning - I can store stuff like the remote and a blanket in the hatch and the drawer and I don't have to get off the couch to get them!
Does that make sense?

WE have a coffee table with drawers and I thought they should go out but when I did it, it looked weird and was sort of inconvenient. I store remotes, coasters, etc in there and I found I would have to get up to get to the drawers. So, I turned it around and I think it looks normal.

Mine faces out. I originally had it facing the couch, but the other side looked too plain. I still keep remotes and coasters in the drawers, but it's not all that convenient.

Our coffee table actually has a drawer on either side, so I didn't have to make this decision, but I would say facing the couch.

mine face out...thats how the store said it usually goes...its decorative so I guess it makes sense...although at first I thought they should face the couch also.

my drawers face the couch. I never thought to face it the other way. We keep the remotes/catalogs/magazines in the drawers so it just made sense to me to face it toward the couch.
