Just have to vent
My baby is now 4 months old and I gave notice at work 2 weeks ago. I was happy that I wouldn't be returning to work but was a little concerned that things would be tight with only my husband working and living in Manhattan. Well my husband came home from work at 11am last Wednesday to tell me he got laid off because the market isn't doing so hot his firm is laying off hundreds of people. Unfortunately this means a lot of people are out of work and the Finance field won't be hiring. I really want to cry all the time. How can they lay off someone that just had a baby? I know it's business and not personal but who knows how long it will take him to find a job...
