Tums for heartburn?
I have never had heartburn before but I believe I am having it now, really bad. I have burning from my stomach to my throat & I can't lay down. It is horrible. I just got tums smoothies and took 2. They were gross . Just wondering how many I should take at a time. Should I wait before I take more. It says 2 -4 on the label, but I feel like that is alot. Any advice is appreciated, this is so new to me!

2-4 a lot?
I'd go through a whole bottle in five days
They are fine, just don't over do it b/c it could hurt your kidneys, but that would be a lot.

Try the tropical Tums, they're pretty tasty. I also drank a LOT of milk. It really helped me out.

Tums are nasty. Try the Rolaids Soft Chews. They taste more like candy and they work really good.
Milk made my heartburn worse!

I think Rolaids taste better, but I think the Tums Smoothies work faster because they dissolve so quick. I also got used to the flavors after a while.
It stinks, hang in there

I take 2-3 regular tums or 2 of the extra strenghth ones if they're around. I get heartburn almost every night and couldn't sleep without the tums.

I like Rolaids better than tums. I also recently started taking Zantac once in the morning and once at night and it helps most of the time.
