maybe it's just me...
but i'm only 10 weeks pregnant and my co-worker every morning attacks me and my belly LOL
I'm not even showing yet and she grabs my stomach and talks baby talk to my belly!!
it annoys me so much! i don't know if it's me and my hormones, but all i keep thinking is what is she gonna do to me when i start showing!! i just want to be like BACK OFF!!

i feel bad because i don't want to be rude, but it's almost every morning and i'm so not a morning person!! maybe once i'm showing i won't care as much...cause right now all she is doing is rubbing my fat! LOL

Start rubbing her belly back. If she says she is uncomfortable with that, tell her, that is exactly how you feel when she does it.

Um, that's excatly how I felt when my mom touched my "belly" when I was around 16 weeks. I told her that when it becomes a real belly that she's more than welcome to rub the buddah belly, but until then, I'd rather her not touch the fat!
I don't think she can be offended if it makes you uncomfortable.

I had a co worker who did the same thing but it was worse b/c she would rub sooo high and touch my boobs.. i was like ummmm thats not baby!!! I thought it was just me, so i mentioned to another coworker and she even noticed it!!! Now what do you say to that person??? At least now i dont have to worry about it anymore since my DD is now here.lol

LOL that is worse, I'm so sorry you had to go through that!! At least you are done I still have over 6 months of this!! God help me!!!

This is so true. I am a high school teacher and I can't tell you have many students try to touch me. It has gotten to the point that I told them I am going to write them up if they keep doing it.

Rule #1 - if you didn't put it in there, then you can't touch it!
I wish I could give every single one of you a little piece of whatever it is in me that forces me to be open with my co-workers about stuff like that. I actually told one just yesterday for the second time that she makes my muscles tighten and gives me heartburn when she has her little freak outs at work. This time, I said it in front of 2 other people...okay that part was probably wrong. I will have to go to all of your jobs and explain to your co-workers exactly why the touching pregnant bellies is inappropriate because I am missing that part of my brain that would normally have caused me to care.
