Britney at the VMA
Was this a joke?
Was she serious???
It looked like the back up dancers were helping her stay upright...
And her dead, zoned out eyes.... There was no oomph at all to her....
Wow....

I said the same thing to DH. She had ZERO energy. Although she looked good, she needed to BRING IT! It was so bad; way too many other dancers onstage to "cover" her....she's over.

she was gawdawful and was drunk and/or high. she didn't look that great (another choice of outfit would have helped) and her lipsyncing-she couldn't even do that! no excuse for the poor performance she turned out, she's supposed to be a pro. i hope she gets some help, because i think this is more evidence of her making her way to rock bottom.

Dh was sooo looking forward to that performance. He kept saying all day "It's her comback! This is the big night for her!!!" and she failed misterably
No energy.
She didn't move at all (I guess to not dislodge the wig)
Her outfit was so tight, it looked PAINTED on!
She lip synced the entire performance- didn't even try to hide it..
It was just plain terrible

I would agree but she's been in a downward spiral, that's she's caused herself now for a few years.
She needs to get her head out of her @ss and get it together once and for all...

I think everyone really wanted her to succeed, but thought if she fell on her face, it would be funny... It was so not funny, and it was in fact incredibly sad.

Britney Spears was slammed by MTV Video Music Awards host Sarah Silverman following her big comeback performance last night.
The ‘comedienne’ said: “Wasn't that incredible? Britney Spears, everyone. Wow. She is amazing. She is 25-years-old and she’s already accomplished everything she’s going to accomplish in her life. It’s mind blowing.”
Adding: “Have you seen Britney’s kids? Oh my god, they are the most adorable mistakes you will ever see! "They are as cute as the hairless v* gina they came out of.”
You kinda have to forgive Spears for not giving her best performance ever when she knew people were gonna talk cr*p like that about her after it.

A co-worker told me this morning that she read that Britney found out about what Sarah Silverman said about her kids right before she was ready to perform, which is why her performance was so bad. She just wanted to get through it...
Don't know how true that is, but I kinda feel bad for Brit.
ETA: I haven't seen her performance yet, I DVR'd it and will watch tonight.
