Why in the world does Paige still HATE being on her tummy??
Its driving me nuts. She will never crawl at this rate. She has hated it since day one and at 7 months old still hates it. I put her on her belly and its like she doesnt know what to do. She puts her arms out like superman and starts crying. She also does not roll over at all. I dont know if she too smart to know that if she rolls over she will be on her belly.
Do you think its bad that she does not roll? She is finally sitting. She isnt the greatest at it but she will if there is a toy in front of her. Plus, she can sit straight up in the front of the stroller. I dont get it.

I wouldnt worry - - - Alyssa NEVER liked being on her belly...I kept thinking as the months went on that she'd grow to like it, that day never came!

I wouldn't worry either, Gianna HATED tummy time, never spent any time on it and still crawled at 10 months old out of nowhere one day.
I'd just let her play on the floor on her back or sitting by herself so she could learn and explore by herself.

Don't worry. Lily was the same way - HATED tummy time. She is crawling like crazy now at 9 and half months.

I wouldn't worry about it... Honestly Lance has been slow at everything. Especially sitting... He also hated tummy time. I'm sure she will get there when she is ready. Hang in there!

Thanks girls. This has been a concern of mine forever. Ive posted many posts about this and every month goes by thinking she will start to like and nothing.

My DD never liked tummy time. It took her forever to sit up and roll over too. She started crawling at 9 months out of nowhere. It was like something clicked over night!!! Now at 10.5 months...she's unstoppable. Paige will get there...just be patient!

Don't worry! DS will be on his belly, maybe, 10 mins, before the crying starts..However, at nap/bed time I ALWAYS lay him on his back, go check on him 10 mins. later...Hes' on his belly
He just does not like to PLAY on the belly.
I;ll be honest. I was a bit concerned with the sitting up with DS as well.
Happy to say he's FINALLY getting it.
