Just had growth sono!
We had our first growth sono this morning!
I have to say I'm a little suprised at how small they say  is! I am 32 weeks 1 day, and she is only 2lbs 4oz. I really thought she would have been bigger- and this whole time DH and I have been betting on having a big baby. (For those who dont know- I am 6'1", and DH is 6'6"- we are big people!). The tech didnt seem the least big concerned- and said that her weight was fine! She is already "head down" and according to the tech, her head is very low.
Everything else looked good- heart rate was good, amniotic fluid was perfect, etc.

 Mine was small and tiny. 4 pounds at 35 weeks. He was still small and tiny 3 weeks later when he was born at 5 lbs, 9oz. This is no indication that you will raise a 5'1" daughter by no means! Some people just have tiny babies (I've now had 2 under 6lbs.)...it's nothing to worry about!

yikes...maybe they are trying to make me feel good with the size of my baby. at 32 wks 6 days, i was measuring 4 1/2 lbs!!!  great...im having big baby arent i??? LOL

That's great that everything looked good! I'm sure she will grow alot during the next few weeks...isn't it hard to tell this early how big she will really be?

babies come in all shapes and sizes...Im tallish at 5'8" and my DH is really only about an inch taller than me and I appear to be carrying a large baby...things wind up evening out...

You just never know - at 32 weeks mine was 5lbs and they said that wasn't too big at all - just slightly over average. they go thru growth spurts so you never know when you caught them!
Congrats on the growth sono - sounds like you little one is doing well!!!!!!!

I bet baby will go through another growth spurt or two. When I was at L & D almost two weeks ago baby was 2 lbs. 4 oz also...(I am just about 29 weeks now).
