I tried cottage cheese with both my kids and they hated it  And they loved the ricotta. Both had it by 7-8 months.

thanks I bought it today, we are tempting pastina for dinner, I would like to do a "baked pasta" idea, w/o the bake part.

They had and I guess liked cottage cheese. I bought the one with the fruit - mixed it up and split it into 3 day's worth. They didn't have that much. After about 5 minutes they were like ok, we've had enough. They chewed it and I was happy to see that they did that.
