Re: Has anyone ever been to a medium?

I have a lady I go to in farmingdale, she is great. I don't really know if she is what you would call a "medium", we always called her the "psychic lady".

She is great...

When are you going? Good Luck!! Be sure to bring paper and pen.

Re: Has anyone ever been to a medium?

Actually, I'm not going, my sister is today. I'm going with her, but I'm just curious what kinds of things they tell you. The woman said she can record the session, so we shall see.

Re: Has anyone ever been to a medium?

I've been to a medium, and had an amazing experience.

During my visit with the medium, she kept asking me if I knew a Josephine. I had no idea who Josephine was, and never knew a Josephine. Well, this Josephine wouldn't go away, and the medium told me that she has recently crossed over and wants to let everyone know that she is ok.

Well....a few hours after leaving the medium, I went to a wedding, and was telling my aunt about my visit with the medium...and how she said so many amazing things, but this one "Josephine" thing made no sense.

I told her exactly what she said and my aunt just stood there in shock. She called her husband over and said, "you have to hear this"...turns out my aunt and uncle were leaving for Italy the very next morning to go to a funeral...my uncle's cousin, Josephine, just passed away!

The medium said all sorts of things that send chills through me...this lady was amazing!

Re: Has anyone ever been to a medium?

We also had a very close friend pass away, and he always said this annoying phrase, "I told you so"...and my husband and I would joke about it all the time.

The very first thing the medium said to me was the name of this friend, she said "so and so" is here, and he's smiling saying "I told you so".

I would love to go to one.

I did see John Edward at Westbury a few months ago, and while I wasn't "read", it was an amazing experience to see.

I went to Robert Hansen and he was right on the money with what he told us, and it was things no one would just pull out of a hat.

A friend of mine went to Jeffrey Wands and said he was really good. He predicted several specific things that ended up happening. A friend of my mom's got read by John Edward on his show and it was uncanny the things he came up with. I really want to get read myself. Let us know how it goes!

Re: Has anyone ever been to a medium?

I have had psychic readings done and I have also been to an astrologist.

I don't think they provided me with any real insight, nor predicted what would happen in my future.

Re: Has anyone ever been to a medium?

Ok, well, she went to the medium today, she's not a psychic, so she didn't predict anything, but she described seeing my sister's bestfriend, who died ten years ago, and was able to tell her about his death and she said, "He just keeps laughing hysterically at everything I'm saying." Which was SO him. He died in a motorcycle crash, which the medium did not know, and she said to my sister, "After he crashed, he stood up and thought he was ok, but then realized it was his spirit standing there, not his body. He really thought he had survived, but was not surprised that he died." And it SO sounds like him. My sister really liked her and didn't feel like she was hokey or telling her anything vague. If I get the guts to, I'm going to go to her.

I've been to him too. He was so dead on it was creepy. He knew things about family members who have passed that NO ONE outside our family could have known.

I HIGHLY recommend him.

Same here. My friend dragged me to see him and I was impressed. Part of me believes that stuff and part of me does not.

I've decided that I WANT to believe. I never used to, and in recent past, too many "coincidences" have happened for me to not believe. I need to believe in SOMETHING. Chat Icon

Re: Has anyone ever been to a medium?

I produced a story on Mediums a few years back. I went to a party where she basically read everyone in the room.
At one point, she pointed to a girl in the room and said "I see that you're involved in a love triangle...you need to choose the man ...blah blah..."
The look on this girl's face made me a believer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chat Icon I hear you.

John Edward really opened my mind to it. I have always had a strong connection to God and felt that my family, friends and loved ones were with Him in Heaven and that is good enough for me. Pollyanna and simplistic I know, but too much has happened in my life for me NOT to believe in God and the afterlife. I think if people have a hard time believing, mediums give a great amount of comfort. However, John Edward did say at his show to someone who lost a child that people (other "mediums") can take advantage and it can become addicting. Like the person keeps wanting to contact the person who is deceased in order to have peace.

Re: Has anyone ever been to a medium?

i went to a psychic about 10 years ago in the city, i think on grove street, he wasn't so great didn't really tell me anything,
about 4 years ago i went to a lady that reads tea leaves in brooklyn, she was a little better, both let me write down things, and i believe you could record the lady,
i am on the fence as to whether i believe or not

I had a similar experience...
He kept telling me there was someone with an E name...then it came to be Erna...she was watching over me, she kept reappearing, etc, etc. Had NO idea who that could be...

When I got home I called my parents to ask them if they knew anyone by that name...My mom said, that was Momma Lou's name!

Momma Lou was my great grandmother/my moms grandmother that we were very very close to...she died when I was young (maybe 7 or 8?). I NEVER knew her real name...I only knew her as Momma Lou!!! Chat Icon

Re: Has anyone ever been to a medium?

I don't know if she was a psychic or a medium but I went to one a long time ago in Valley Steam. I was pregnant at the time and she told me I was having a boy...which was right. She also told me that I was going to be having two more kids...a girl then a boy...
She also told me about my grandmother who had passed on and how happy she is with her husband and her friends.

I don't know if I believe her...I mean...it's a 50/50 chance that you're going to guess what I"m having...and of course you're going to tell someone that they're loved ones are together and happy.
