I think that all of our DHs should....
Wear a sack of potatoes or something around their bellies to see how truly uncomfortable being pregnant is.
I Garantee you that they could not last anywhere near 24 hours.
What do you think?!

I have to say DH is wondeful. He does everything. I just don't think he realizes how bad it is though.
I keep telling him I don't want visitors on Saturday. He keeps telling me that maybe I will be OK.
So I told him...I will less than 24 hours from a surgery. Will have most likely the IV and catherer still in me.. really! No shower! Why do I want to see anyone? I need to survive my 1st night learning how to BF on top of that.
I don't blame him though. I had no clue what pregnancy meant until it was my turn. And I am a woman!!!

That is so true. Another preggo friend and I were talking last night and saying how we will def. be much more attentive to pregnant women in the future. You have no clue how it is until you go through it.

Everytime DH laughs at me trying to get up out of bed I want to hit him. 
I would give anything for him to be pregnant for a day.

it has to have electric shocks in it too, so they can feel what sciatica is like...and we have to attach a remote control punching bag to hit their bladder whenever we feel like it - really they have no clue!!!

I saw this thing for car testing where Honda straps a huge fake stomach to men so they'll know what a pg woman feels like. They said it weighs 35lbs and has these big boobs!! I soooo wanted to buy one!
My DH is really good, in all fairness, but yes, I wish he could understand how uncomfortable it is... especially the sciatic nerve and not being able to be "normal".
