Driving question - Right of Way
One car pulls up to an intersection. The car has a stop sign. The road that intersects it does not have a stop sign. THe car stops and waits for traffic. While the car is sitting there waiting another car pulls up to the stop sign on the other side of the road. The car that got there 1st is making a left. The 2nd car is going straight. Who has the right of way??

I think the one who got there first but sometimes the one making the turn doesn't have time to do so while the one going straight has more opportunities to go.

I would say the person who got their first. That's usually how it works out unless the person who pulled up is a real idiot. But it's probably the person who is going straight.
